How many guests can The Elks Ballroom hold?
We can comfortably seat 375 guests.
Can I have my ceremony and reception at the Elks?
Yes! We have space that can seat 250 guests for a ceremony. We also have other rooms available if you are looking for a smaller intimate room besides our ballroom.
Does the Elks have on-site parking?
The Elks has a parking lot the shape of an “L” that surrounds the building, as well as the large parking lot across the street next door to the fire station.
Are pets allowed at the Elks?
Of course your pets are welcome! We kindly ask that you clean up any messes they may make while they are here for the ceremony only.
Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?
Meetings and tours are by appointment only. We would love to show you around our venue and discuss your event.
Can I bring in an outside caterer?
No! We do not allow outside food or beverages. Our dedicated in‑house catering team will handle all your food and beverage needs.
What is your alcohol policy?
If you are wanting to serve alcohol at your event, it must be purchased at the bar located within the Waterloo Elks. No alcohol can be brought in from outside sources.
Am I able to have my rehearsal there?
If you purchase the Ceremony Plus Reception package, it includes Friday and Saturday, so rehearsal is included.
Is the Elks ADA compliant/wheelchair accessible?
The Elks is ADA compliant. We have a paved sidewalk on our Mulberry Street entrance that allows wheelchair access into our building, along with an elevator that has access to every floor in the building.
What time does music and bar need to end on Friday and Saturdays?
Music and bar needs to end at 11pm. This gives your vendors and you time to clean up your items and be off the property by Midnight.
How do I reserve the Elks for my event?
In order to reserve your date, after you have spoken with our banquet coordinator a contract will be drawn up. You will need to sign and send back, along with your room rental deposit.
